HISTORY
The family owned and operated company was formed on 7th April 2004, with Ray Jefferson, Grant Jeffersons Father, and Chad Jefferson, Grants Brother as Directors. Grant completed his trade as a Diesel Mechanic in 2004 and joined his family in the civil business in 2005, further completing his Diploma of Surveying. Grant worked as a Surveyor and Project Manager for 14 years.
Ray Jefferson has over 50 years experience in the civil construction industry with Hawkins Civil Group, Mountain Industries, and founder of Daracon (derived from David and Ray Constructions).
Chad Jefferson has over 20 years experience in civil construction as well as holding honours in his Civil Engineering & Surveying Degree.
Centurion Civil company structure reformed when Ray was ready for retirement and Chad formed another successful Hunter business, Centurion Survey Pty Ltd.
With Grants wealth of industry knowledge and experience he decided to rebuild Centurion Civil, becoming sole Managing Director in 2018.
The history of the company is one characterised by controlled growth & expansion. Over 18 years of operation and under the leadership of the Jefferson family, Centurion Civil remains a reputable, genuine, and hardworking civil contractor in the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid-coast regions.
